Optical cable tracer analyzer 

The optical cable path analysis instrument is a comprehensive test instr ument  developed by Qingdao Nokel Communication Technology Co., Ltd for findin g and  positioning optical cable routes, measuring optical cable loss, and mea  suring fault points. It integrates two functions: a high-precision optical ti  me-domain reflectometer and a highsensitivity distributed optical cable vibra  tion detection system. By using a mobile APP for wireless remote control, it  can quickly test the performance of the link and locate the vibration of the  optical cable It can be used for single-mode optical cable route verification,  online monitoring, and fault point positioning.


Technical features

• Fiber optic high sensitivity sensing technology is used to detect slight vibration perception optical  cable, and can detect the length of the optical cable. 

• The-mode fiber is used as the sensor, the measuring distance is far, and the maximum vibration detec tion distance is supported to 40km; OTDR The maximum measuring distance is to 180km. 

• High-order mode suppression ratio laser light source is used, the measuring dist ance resolution is high, and the minimum can reach ±2m. 

• OTDR The loss measurement accuracy is high, and the measurement a ccuracy can reach 0.002dB. 

• High measurement time resolution, the update time is within 18ms. 

• The optical cable detector easily achieves touch detection in the op tical cable bundle, and finds the target optical cable. 

• Support mobile Internet access host, operation interface using smartphone, a  single person to operate to achieve all measurement functions. 

• The equipment is equipped with fault alarm, power failure alarm, network abnormality alarm  and wireless signal monitoring functions.


Application scenarios


System networking

In this system, optical fiber is used as a vibration sensor to collect vibrations at a remote end,  and at the same time, it serves as a signal transmission medium transmitting the reflected signals  generated by vibrations to the system host. The system host analyzes the signals and performs  algorithmic calculations to provide signal analysis results, which are then fed back to remote end  via the Internet. The remote inspection personnel implemen t knocking, and the results are simultaneously viewed on the mobile APP, allowing for immediate judgment of the op tical cable route.

Optical cable route detection

The spare fiber of the optical cable side access to the machine room, by knocking on the pipeline well cover and the  pole alo ng the optical cable, can be manipulated the handheld APP end, and can be viewed in real time the vibration  signal and distan ce of the optical cable to be tested, combined with the longitude and latitude information, the  vibration is uploaded to the optical cable management system, to achieve the general survey of the optical cable route,  and to facilitate the rapid mainte nance and maintenance in the later period.

Optical cable search and fault location

The high-sensitivity vibration technology of the optical cable line analysis instrument can accurately locate and  identify the target optical cable laid in manholes, tunnels, pipelines, and overhead poles. When the optical cable has a digging fault, the optical time domain reflectometer function tests the distance of the  optical cable breakpoint, and the high-sensitivity vibration detection function locates the position of the point,  achieving rapid repair.

Optical fiber loss measurement

The-precision OTDR function can accurately test the loss of splice points, bends, connectors and other events in the fiber network, and  evaluate the quality of the fiber link being. It can be used in conjunction with the  optical cable vibration detection function to quickly diagnose faults such as large  loss points and breaks in the fiber link.
