Darkhorse is expanding its fiber optic equipment portfolio with the new D21S PRO 4-motor fiber fusion splicer, developed for telecom construction, FTTH deployment, fiber network maintenance and emergency repair.
Designed around fast operation, stable fiber alignment and reliable field performance, the D21S PRO combines 4-motor alignment technology, 7-second typical splicing, 15-second heating and a 5200mAh battery in a compact 1.60kg body.
The D21S PRO adopts a 4-motor active alignment system to precisely control fiber positioning during the splicing process. Combined with dual-camera observation and intelligent discharge control, the system is designed to deliver stable fiber splicing performance across different project environments.
The splicer supports SM, MM, DS and NZDS single-core fibers, including G.652, G.657, G.651, G.653 and G.655 fiber types.

G.657: 0.02dB
For field technicians, every second matters.
The Darkhorse D21S PRO fiber fusion splicer completes a typical splice in approximately 7 seconds, while its Quick Mode can reduce splicing time to approximately 4 seconds. The typical heating time is approximately 15 seconds when using 40mm or 60mm heat shrink tubes.
This combination helps contractors complete more fiber connections during a working day, making the D21S PRO particularly suitable for FTTH construction, network expansion and fiber maintenance projects.
